Some of the popular events in the city are The City of Lakes Loppet, Which is an event that organizes a 35 Km cross country ski race through the Twin Cities, held in the 1st week of Feb. The theater May Day Parade event, held in the 1st weekend of May is a parade festival that features fantastic puppets and floats. The Art a Wheel event held in May is an Art Studio Tour and Open House event in Minneapolis.
