Seattle Major Streets and Roadways

Finding your way around Seattle is quite easy; in fact, for visitors and residents of Seattle, Tacoma and Bellevue, that is not much of a problem at all.

Tacoma is conveniently and effectively planned with most of the city having a system of gridded streets. The streets begin in the Downtwon area and conjunct with A Street and 6th Avenue or Division Avenue. Streets in the north to south are named with a letter and steets in the east to west are given a number. There are also some named streets in the east to west such as N. Westgate Blvd and S. Center Street.

Bellevue is conveniently planned with major highways throughout the outskirts of the towns that conveniently allow residents and tourists to travel to neighboring areas. Major Roads in Bellevue include Bellevue Way, E. Madison Street and Northrup Way. Residents and tourist enjoy well planned communities which are easy to get from one destination to another.

Streets in Seattle run east-west or north-south, with some of their major streets being Broadway, Denny Way and Yesler Way.

Each of the cities strive to ensure that their programs and facilities are accessible to each resident and tourist and take the efforts to accommodate the handicapped persons as well with handicapped accommondations.
