Baltimore Major Streets and Roadways

The Harbor Tunnel Throughway is probably the most significant road in the city as it eventually becomes the John F. Kennedy memorial highway. The Jones Falls Freeway runs north to south, and almost divides the city in to 2 halves. There is also the Baltimore Beltway that circles a large part of the city too.

Some of the notable streets that run north to south include St Paul Street, Light Street, William Street, Scott Street, S Haven Street and N Bentalou Street. Those that run east to west include E Lombard Street, E Pratt Street, Fleet Street, E Baltimore Street, W Franklin Street, W Fayette Street, W Pratt Street, Baker Street, E Biddle Street, E 39th Street, W 40th Street and more.

The Druid Hill Park and Druid Lake can be accessed from the Jones Falls Expressway by taking the W 29th Street and the S Hanover Street leads to the harbor.

Some of the other streets in the city include Baltimore Street, Eutaw Street, Maryland Route, Old Harford Street, Gay Street, Windsor Mill Road. Each of the streets is well managed and you are never to find a pothole in these well managed roads and streets of Baltimore.
