Baltimore Events
The city of Baltimore hosts many annual events and festivals. Given the wealth of neighborhoods, communities and institutions that the city has, there is usually something planned for the week. The harbor front also makes for a great location for hosting many city-organized events.
The Showcase of Nations Ethnic Festival is an event that is held on weekends and continues from June to October. Each of these events is based on different cultures like African-American, Greek, Caribbean or Russian. The Fourth of July celebrations and fireworks are a delight to watch at the harbor front as well.
People not in the mood for noisy evenings has other mellow options including an evening watching a movie al fresco on a large screen at the Open Air theatre at Little Italy.
