Hartford Gallery

There are many places in Hartford that offer spectacular photo opportunities for visitors. The Mark Twain House is one of the biggest attractions of this city. It is a sprawling 19 mansion house located in Farmington Avenue. Mark Twain lived here during the years 1874 to 1891. Apart from its historical significance this building is a must see because of its lavish decorations.

The Wadsworth Atheneum is the first public art museum in the whole of United States, and this place of interest has around 50000 art pieces ranging from the ancient days to the more contemporary history. It also has the largest collection of Hudson River School paintings in the world. The Old State House is also a great place to visit. It was the former seat of the state and even today one can hear a canon blast twice a day. The Cedar Hill Cemetery is another important place that should be visited while on a trip to Hartford.
