Boxing At The Duce, Phoenix Arizona
In downtown Phoenix there is a interesting new type of revitalization experiment going on. Housed in an historic 1928 brick warehouse just two blocks south of downtown Phoenix, the duce is the brainchild of Steve & Andi Rosenstein, the original entrepreneurial dynamic duo behind the clothing brand, Fitigues.
Appropriately nicknamed “The Deuce” by local cops during prohibition, this gritty "corner pocket" of the city housed produce purveyors by day...but after dark when the desert cooled off, this place got h-o-t! Booze & jazz, dice & vice became the commodities of the evening. The Duce also allows you to have a boxing workout for $5. -CEB
