Camera Train - Columbus Ohio
During the fall of 1939 I went with a couple friends on a camera train from Columbus to Philo, Ohio. The engineer stopped at scenic points and we got out to take pictures. The New York Central supplied a shiny engine, crew, and a diner where the meal was around a dollar. The trip, as I recall, was around $10.. I took this with my Brownie on Verichrome film. - Don O'Brien
